Institute for peace and secular studies invites you in a talk with Dr Ghazala Anwar About: Dr Ghazala Anwar is a renowned scholar and researcher who did her Ph.D. in Religion from Temple University, Philadelphia, Penn and since then has been teaching at several prestigious universities across the globe. Currently, she is an Associate Professor of Quranic Studies, at Starr King, a member school of the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, California. Her research and teaching interests include Islamic jurisprudence and Sufism, as well as the exploration of issues of healing, gender and sexuality in Islam.
