Improving Stress Coping Skills – Headaches and Basic Life Support

Time: January 12, 2011 – 17:30 to 18:30

Venue: Institute for Peace and Secular Studies

On coming Wednesday, we will cover two distinct but very important topics ”Headaches” and ”Basic Life Support”

”Headaches” session will include an interactive discussion on different types of headaches which we all have to deal with at some point in our stressful lives. It is important to know how simple life style modifications may help us get rid of those, and when do we actually need to take such pains seriously.

”Basic Life Support” session will include demonstration and hands-on practice of CPR and other pertinent life saving techniques.

The discussion will be facilitated by Ali Jawaid, MD. Ali is a graduate of Aga Khan University, Karachi and subsequently completed clinical and research training at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas. He has published numerous scholarly articles related to human behavior and cognition.
