TALK ON SEXUALITY AND SAFE SEX PRACTICES

Discussing sex has been a taboo in our society, but it is an irrefutable fact that almost all of us have thought about it one way or the other. At IPSS, we will sit together and discuss the norms and myths of sex, including sexual orientation, gender identity, male and female impotence as well as safe sex practices. These discussions are not meant to promote one point of view or another, but to increase the awareness about these sensitive but very important issues.

The discussion will be facilitated by Ali Jawaid, MD. Ali is a graduate of Aga Khan University, Karachi and subsequently completed clinical and research training at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas. He has published numerous scholarly articles related to human behavior and cognition.

Time: January 5, 2011- 17:30 – 19:30
