SCREENPLAY WRITING WORKSHOP

Introduction

The workshop will focus on developing plots and characters, address the story problem, structure basics and teach you how to write unforgettable scenes.

About the workshop

You will learn how to develop unique and layered characters; techniques to give a character depth and learn ways to make lead characters likable without making them bland. The focus will remain on crafting unique and psychologically complex characters and work on character devel…opment in stages.

You will learn from both the Hollywood model where you will look closely at the screenplays of 3 f Hollywood films, as well as the Bollywood model. You will be given the opportunity to learn how to write dialogue that is engaging and emotionally evocative and has the sounds and rhythms of natural speech.

By the end of the workshop participants will be able to write a screenplay on their own.

About the Instructor

The instructor wrote the screenplay for her first short film as well as a Bollywood film that is currently in production.
